Hello All,
The training plan of the Communication and Design Department is designed to be multi-disciplinary, enabling multi-disciplinary thinking that today's artists need. We want you to understand and follow technology, produce innovative projects and to be equipped not only professionally but also academically.
We wish you not only to have the technical knowledge to meet the needs of the sector, but also to be visual artists who can transform that knowledge into artwork. For this reason, compulsory courses are offered in the field of art and culture and elective courses are offered based on professional practice in the fields of cinema, photography, video, and graphics within the framework of the Fine Arts-centered education plan of the Communication and Design Department.
Knowing that distinctions such as graphic artists, filmmakers, video artists and photographers arose from production relations, but without denying their importance, we aim to be individuals, “visual artists” and “visual storytellers” that think outside of these categories and mix them together, think together, produce together, build on differences.
We believe in individuals who follow exhibitions, go to the theater, wait till morning to get their first online tickets for film festivals, get excited when talking about a work of art they see, look at the world with social responsibility awareness, read books, do not memorize but question what they read. We trust in individuals who pursue crazy designs, exciting scenarios that are out of the ordinary, break taboos, and above all, imagine. Because it is the first step of the road to be able to imagine and to dare to imagine without giving up and saying that “I cannot do that, and I cannot succeed”.
You will take the first step on this long road.
Education based on art and culture that will nurture your imagination and creativity is the second step… We will take that step together.
Come, let's take this road together, believe me, it’s so fun...
