A  trip was organized to the Istanbul Museum of Graphic Arts (İMOGA) on Tuesday, May 14 in cooperation with the Department of Communication and Design and the Department of Communication Arts, accompanied by our Dean of the Faculty of Art and Design, Prof. Dr. Mehmet Üstünipek. After Prof. Dr. Mehmet Üstünipek's explanations on Contemporary Turkish Art, our students toured the museum collection and had the opportunity to meet the founder of the museum, educator and artist Süleyman Saim Tekcan.

Students of the Department of Communication and Design as part of the 2023-2024 Spring Semester "İTB Technical Tours", they visited the "Now in Digital Art: Game Room" exhibition at Aksanat on Friday, May 10. Students attending the event received information about the exhibition under the guidance of our graduate Elif İkbal Yıldız and discussed examples of the intersection of Contemporary Art and the world of computer games. Students, who also experienced the games included in the exhibition at Aksanat, also had the opportunity to watch a movie (Machinima) produced with game tools.

Department of Communication and Design met with academician Dr. Murat Uluk on Thursday, May 2, within the scope of "İTB Art Workshops" events. Following a presentation about the basic concepts, techniques and current trends in web design, a workshop was held on the different stages of creating a comprehensive website and basic web development languages such as HTML and CSS. The issues of designing user-friendly, visually appealing and mobile-friendly websites were discussed at the event.
