Director Hasan Ete was the first guest of the "Türkiye Cinema Talks" event series organized by the Department of Communication and Design in the 2023-2024 Spring Semester. The event, which was held on Wednesday, March 27 in the 1st floor multi-purpose seminar hall in the Ataköy building of Bakırköy campus, started with the screening of Ete's documentary "Good Death" in Rotterdam-Netherlands. Making statements about film production and short documentary production management abroad, Ete also answered the questions of our students.

The Department of Communication and Design students met with Illustrator & Graphic Artist Dr. Yeşim Paktin on Monday, March 25th as part of the "ITB Art Workshops". After a conversation about the areas in which illustration is used, the techniques used to produce it, different styles and printing processes, the students completed the workshop by designing the cover of a literary book they chose from world classics with the guidance of Paktin.

In the first event of the 2023-2024 Spring Semester of the ITB technical trips, the students of the Department of Communication and Design and the Department of Culture and Arts Management, accompanied by Prof. Dr. Mehmet Üstünipek, Dean of the Faculty of Art and Design, visited the exhibition "A Forgotten Woman of the Republic: Melek Celal in All Her Aspects" exhibition at the Sakıp Sabancı Museum on Tuesday, March 19.
