Research Assistant from the Department of Communication and Design Sezer Ağgez's documentary film project "40 Years After Fatma", supported by the T.R. Ministry of Culture and Tourism, became a finalist at the 42nd Istanbul Film Festival, one of the oldest film festivals in Türkiye. Tickets for the film, which will be screened at CineWAM City's Nişantaşı on Thursday, April 13, 2023, at 19.00, and at Sinematek/Sinema Evi on Friday, April 14, 2023, at 19.00, as one of the nominees for the "National Documentary Film Award", will go on sale on Friday, March 31, 2023.

Faculty of Art and Design Department of Communication and Design Lecturer Res. Assist. Sezer Ağğez’s film named “40 Years After Fatma” and Department of Communication and Design 2020 alumni Kadir Can Arabacı’s “Three Army” project are finalists of the 33rd Ankara Film Festival to be held on 3-11 November 2022, in the category of “National Documentary Film.”

Selin Su Kılınçarslan, Berke Durukan and Tolga Çınar, our senior students of Department of Communication and Design, became finalists in the 13th International TRT Documentary Awards' National Student Category with their documentary film “9:16”. Our students also advanced to the finals in the Project Support Category of the same competition with their project called “Phenomen 3.0” that they were preparing as part of the "Project Workshop II" course.
